Destiny Kids Library WORD FROM THE FOUNDER

When we feel passion for something, it is because we are remembering what it was that we come here to do. The more passion we feel, the more alignment with source we are, allowing this energy to pour through us with no hesitation, with this same passion my hobby is turned into a LIBRARY.

Reading has been my passion since childhood and am glad is my profession now. My name, Mrs. Abigail Okaibea Mensah, Founder of DESTINY KIDS LIIBRARY. I am excited to be able to share my dream, my passion and vision with you and believe you will find this informative and inspirational.

It is my desire that DKL will grow to become the best children library with branches all over Africa and join in common library programs and activities with the world library for kids. We respect the views of all persons we come into contact with irrespective of their race, ethnicity and religion. We uphold the policies of TRUST and HONESTY, acting consistently with a view of achieving utmost success and positive impact in all projects and programs we undertake.

Our vision

To promote the art of reading and encourage the African child to appreciate education and the value of library in Africa.

Core values

We believe that the essentials of life and success are skills that can be learned. With this principle in mind we want to excitedly share the things that we have learned with the children that have been placed in our destiny path

Our mission Statement

This organization acknowledges the power of education and the first step to education is to be able to read and write. We want to grow a successful library while enhancing reading skills in children and helping them to acknowledge the richness of different languages.

Governance structure

Destiny Kids Library is a Sole Proprietorship. Been a Sole Proprietorship does not mean it takes decisions on its own but has a board of ADVISORS, the board helps in decision making. They actively participate in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all library projects and also provide related support in ensuring the smooth running of the library.

All interested persons should kindly send their donation of BOOKS, PENS, PENCILS AND LEARNING MATERIALS to the office of DKL Library, or call Mrs. Abigail Okaibea Mensah to come and pick it up where ever you are.
